Coelogyne fimbriata can be found growing from northeast India through to southwest China, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. A small growing plant that will ramble around the pot or mount. It will grow in warm to cool conditions, prefers dappled light and 70%-80% humidity, making it a popular choice for New Zealand growers. Expect 1 or 2 flowers measuring about 3cm across per stem. They are scented with the fragrance described as musklike.
