This Paphiopedilum is super tiny, with a bloom size of approximately 7cm and a stem that grows between 10 and 20 centimetres! This will result in a tiny blooming plant, with a personality to match! This intriguing little treasure likes to be grown in cold to warm temperatures. Keep it drier over winter.

Size B plants can be expected to reach flowering size in 2-2.5 years; Size B+ plants in 18-24months (depending on the flowering season and time of purchase). Paphiopedilum, found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia reaching as far north as southern China, are commonly known as Slipper Orchids. Paphiopedilums are quite easy to cultivate and therefore popular among orchid enthusiasts. Depending on where you are growing them in NZ you can grow them outdoors in sheltered, shady corners of your garden, or indoors in the cooler parts of the house.
