Flask of Tolumnia Mem. Ralph Yagi with 5 plants to the flask. Can be deflasked between Spring and Autumn. They will, however, need to be protected over the following winter until they are of a size that will manage normal growing conditions. Advice on deflasking can be found on our website link: https://www.tuckersorchidnursery.co.nz/pages/growing-orchids-from-flask
Images supplied is indicative image of a flask, plant sizes in the flask may vary depending on variety/species.
Tolumnias were previously known as Equitant Oncidiums because of their warmer growing conditions. These can be grown in fine bark in pots or mounted on small branches or cork. Water them frequently allowing the roots to dry before repeat watering.
