We are expecting a range of colours, many with attractive spotting to the flowers. Flower size is expected to be 5-7cm with 2-3 spikes per bulb on a mature plant.
Propabstopetalum (Pbt.) is an orchid hybrid in the Zygopetalum (Z.) family. Grown much like Cymbidiums, they prefer cool to intermediate conditions and dappled sunlight. They are frost sensitive, so will require protection in colder climes.
The photo that shows on each available variant is indicative of the size plant that you will receive. Size B plants can be expected to reach flowering size in 3-4 years; Size B+ plants in 2-3 years; Size C plants in 6-18 months (depending on the flowering season and time of purchase). Please check carefully when selecting options to avoid “size surprise”.
